Bundesliga giant FC Schalke 04 to Visit MLES Academy

MLES Academy is proud to announce that FC Schalke 04 will be visiting our academy in the United States.

As part of our ongoing efforts to create direct pathways to European football and to bring the German Football DNA to America, representatives from Schalke’s scouting department — including the Head of Scouting — are planning to travel to Southern California to explore a potential long-term collaboration with MLES Academy.

This visit represents a rare and exclusive opportunity. Clubs of this magnitude do not travel lightly.

FC Schalke 04 is one of Germany’s most historic clubs, globally respected for its elite player development system, the Knappenschmiede — one of the most renowned academies in world football.

The academy has produced world-class players such as Manuel Neuer, Mesut Özil, Leroy Sané, Julian Draxler, Benedikt Höwedes, and Joel Matip — players who have gone on to win World Cups, Champions League titles, and define the highest level of world football.

Bringing this level of scouting and strategic interest into the MLES development environment is a clear reflection of the standards, credibility, and identity that MLES Academy has built.
